I came across this poem and it really touched my heart.

I WOULD GATHER CHILDRENSome would gather moneyAlong the path of lifeSome would gather roses,And rest from worldly strife. But I would gather childrenFrom among the thorns of sin,I would seek a golden curl,And a freckled, toothless grin. For money cannot enterIn that land of endless day,And roses that are gatheredSoon will wilt along the way.But oh, the laughing children,As I cross the sunset sea,And the gates swing wide to heaven,I can take them in with me!~Author Unknown~

I CAN'T BELIEVE IT IS SNOWING!!!!

It was a special day in many ways today.Kyle practiced every day for about 3 weeks to do the invitation at services. He was so nervous, but you couldn't tell. He got up there and made his talk beautifully. I am such a proud mommy for what he is growing up to being. He loves the Lord so much and is an encouragement to me. I thank God every day for the blessing he is to me.The last time it snowed was about 3 or 4 years ago and it was on Christmas eve. This time it is sticking and we were even able to build a snowman. Fun times!!!Kyle was throwing the snowball at mom.

I took advantage of the special and am hoping to get back in shape at the same time as my kids are in the PE class! Very Excited!!! Anybody want to come excercise with me?

If anyone would like to post their favorite Thanksgiving recipe, please do so. I am really looking forward to the holidays. I would like to know your specialties.I am doing the best I can to wait till after Thanksgiving to put my tree up. I don't know if I'll be able to wait!!! There is one particular part I CAN wait for. Mike bought a Lionel train last year off ebay and the kids loved it. Notice I said kids. It is huge, I couldn't hardly vacuum bacause the tracks are all over the place. The kids played in the water yesterday. I didn't think that would happen in November. They had a blast.
