The following word cloud contains all the significant words
from a hymn except for the words in the hymn's title.
Can you figure out the title?
Rather than post your answer and spoil it for others trying to
figure it out, be creative with your answer format. Maybe put
your answer in black text, or in a Pleo link, or just write "I know!"
Enjoy!

::::::::: Afterthought :::::::::
While this song is well-known to many, it might not be so well
known in this forum. The song was written in 1993 by a woman, and
has been sung by many contemporary artists. It is not in any of
the popular hymnals to my knowledge, but I am sure most of my
friends know it -- after all, I taught it in our congregation!
The next one will be from one of the "approved texts"!

Could you also post the one that you had up on Sunday morning with the names of God/Jesus? Part of the side was cut off and I have to know what one of the names was! :) BTW - I don't know, yet.
I don't think I stand a chance, unless it is a song RJ Stevens worked on. :·) Where I assemble we still use 'Hymns for Worship' and 'Hymns for Worship supplement'. ugh. Lots of RJ Stevens going on at Bath Rd. I have sang from 'Songs of Faith & Praise' at singings at Ben's and at congregations we have visited. :·)
hey now, there's nothing wrong with RJ's books. I admit there are books like the Songs of Faith and Praise that have amazing songs and are uplifting, but so are the songs in the Hymns for Worship and its supplement book. We've JUST started using the supplement book once a month at singings in people's homes, outside of the worship, and because our elders seem to be...hesitant on "new" songs, this is the only way right now that we can introduce some of those songs.
The first thing that jumps out at me, but I could easily be wrong, is an ancient hymn, and definitely in HFW. I'm thinking of A Mighty Fortress. Is the "HFW supplement" the same as the singing school book "Sing To The Lord"? If so, there are some wonderful songs in it!
Sorry brianne. I did not mean to offend you, or others. I enjoy plenty of RJS's songs. There are so many other new ones and 'golden oldies' that we do not get to sing where I assemble. That's all... :·)
My solution is to play left-handed part of the time...It really improves positional awareness, as well, since you can't get by with sheer physical ability.
The other morning, I wrote a new song, recorded several parts
(drums, bass, five guitar parts), mixed it all down, exported it
to MP3 and emailed it to Phil all before the
Florida/Alabama game.
Since then, he has been working on lyrics, melody and
backing vocals. He sent me a rough draft of the song (now
named "Promises") and it sounds very promising!
It might not be what everyone thinks is great music, but
considering Phil is a big Van Halen fan, and that the
instrumentation sounds like a cross between Stone Temple Pilots
and the James Gang... some of you might appreciate it.
Check back over the next few weeks for a taste of this new tune!
