I have always been a big believer in "Chapters" of our lives. It seems as though, often, our lives (or at least mine) can be easily divided into Chapters. Periods of time that are sometimes short, sometimes long, but almost always have fairly definitive beginnings and endings.
Today marked a new chapter for my family. Today, January 2, 2009 my dear wife hopefully worked her last day outside of the home, for at least some time. Crystal is now, and will be for quite some time a stay at home wife. For us, this marks a very important day in the history of our family.
Since before we were married we have discussed the time when Crystal could finally cease working outside the home. Thankfully that day has come.
And in ~36 days Crystal will no longer be "just" a stay at home wife.
She will be a stay at home mom as well.
