Nanziwe Beltricks 12-08-08 10:30pm EST Melissa and I were given a fish tonight... and we named him: NANZIWE BELTRICKS =D I love that fish already =] We got the name "Nanziwe" off of our Spirit of Africa CD that we listen to ALL the time... especially while we study. And the name "Beltricks" is simply a combination of our last names, "Beltran" and "Hendricks". Simple and Honest Advice 12-04-08 04:02am EST Its currently 2:50 am. I should be working on my math presentation I have to give at 9:30 tomorrow morning. I can't sleep. Too much on my mind. But I pose two questions: Should a person stick to their beliefs no matter what? Never compromise for a friend, boyfriend, girlfriend, spouse? I'm looking for simple and honest advice. outrank17 Depends what you mean by beliefs. If you are talking about Godly things, then you shouldn't commpromise. James 3:17 says that Godly wisdom is "unwavering".  outrank17 But, if you ain't talkin about Godly things, then I think its a good thing to come to a middle ground, a veces.  plato Do not compromise in matters of truth and lies.
