Brookshire is wonderful. It's small, country like community, less than 30 minutes away from civilization (Katy). We have roosters and chickens for neighbors, and I really like it here. Unfortunately, we are in an internet deadzone. So unless we get dial up and a landline, we are essentially cut off from the rest of the world. And since I don't plan on getting said pathetic internet service or a landline, you'll be hearing from me much less frequently than I would like :(
Our moving plans changed a little, but everything is still going mostly to plan. I'm really worn out right now from all the driving, pregnant ladies weren't meant to drive lol
Lonnie has his two little girls back, so he's happy. Allie and Jessie are wondering around the house right now trying to figure out what to do. All the furniture is gone and everything is in boxes. Poor kitties are so confused, but you can tell they are glad to be home with each other and mommy and daddy.
Tomorrow we drive back into Houston for Christmas. This hopefully will be our last trip with stuff to "move" and all we should have to bring on Saturday will be us, cats, and toiletries. I can't wait for the trip to Fort Worth. There are lots of big presents under thier tree, can't wait to see what everything is ;)
Well, I'm gonna go try to take another nap. I'll need all the energy I can muster if I'm going to be driving the "bus" tomorrow. :)
haha I know.. sorry about that! I was for sure it started with an f :P
hey, they're only a letter apart on the keyboard! ;)
Aww I always hated traveling when I was prego :( But we seemed to do a lot of it! haha

Christmas music!
I figured now is as good as time as any to explain how I feel about Christmas, because I'm sure my music selection will raise some eyebrows. For me, Christmas is a traditional holiday. It's not "about" Jesus's birth for me, but it's about spending time with family. A lot of these songs are "classics" and things I've grown up listening to every Christmas. I don't see anything wrong with people who decide that they want to have a special day to celebrate the birth of our Lord, and I don't have a issue with people who avoid the holiday all together.
I plan on teaching my child the truth about Christmas, that it was founded to cover up a pagan holiday, and that we don't know exactly when Jesus was born, but that its ok to celebrate his birth (even though we don't have to). I'll also tell my child that Santa is just make believe, but we will still play the "Santa game" and do everything like a "normal" family.
Ok, so enjoy the music!

So I finally decided to upload all the pics from my digital camera onto my computer a few days ago. It seemed as a good of time as any, especially considering the fact that in a few days I won't have any of my fun toys for about 2 weeks, but not to worry, I'll be plenty busy until the end of the year! (then I'm settling down for a loooong winter's nap)
The pictures are here:
They are all from my honeymoon in San Anotnio. Since the Zoo was all I remembered to take pics of (and Lonnie refused to be in the pictures) here are 60 of my favorite animals :) Sorry for the blurryness/glare. I was working with refelective glass and low lighting, but I tried my best!
