OOh! I love my iPhone!!! ...you have to tell me, though...how do you post here with it? Maybe if I knew, I could update my blog more than once or twice a year! :D
we'll probably have to do it sometime next semester because i've got a ton going on this semester! hopefully i wont be so busy in the spring and we can hang out more.
Well it appears that I've been called out by someone so I suppose it's time for an update, haha. I'm sure that many of you have seen the posts floating all over the site and it's true: Dry Creek Camp is over. It definately felt strange heading back in after missing a couple of years. Many that had been there as sophomores the last time I was there had graduated, and some others that I thought were gone were still there. So many new faces that eventually became a fantastic new group of friends. Thank you everyone for making the 2008 camp one to remember just like the rest.
As for the rest of the summer.. well I'm just having the most awful time trying to narrow down what I'm going to do. I'm missing out on lectures with a head cold that I'm just positive that I either picked up from her or her, but hopefully I'll recover enough to be able to make the trip on Thursday. As always, I'm intending to make a trip or two out to San Antonio to see two of my most dearfriends and all of their crazy cohorts. :D Had intended to make a road trip to Alabama, but gas prices and the complicated work and school schedules of my trip-mates might just make that impossible. There's just so many of you that I want to spend time with that I just don't know how I'll possibly squeeze it all in. We'll see how it goes!
In other news:
I still haven't seen Indiana Jones yet
I am very out of shape and intend to solve that problem this summer.
I was the 266th person to create a pleonast blog.. there's over 13,000 of them now. :)
I'm craving pepperoni's and pepperjack cheese like something crazy
I'm wondering how cleaning my apartment can be such an unending chore when I live by myself.
There's actually a young lady that I'm interested in right now, but it's so annoyingly complicated that it probably won't go anywhere.

Hey, so I still haven't gotten that fourteen day free trial of WOW...but it's mostly because of my fear that I might become addicted. So..yeah, don't hurt me.
No...I am just hoping that I get sent back there on camp friends business. Did you? I didn't want to be another Alex Day and stalk dry creek like it was my job :) jk. I loved it so much! It is great seeing all of these people from there who were my friends that are now @ FC. Its like a DC reunion!
Whats up old man.. what you been upto lately! We just had a baby 6 weeks ago.. seems like it was 6 weeks ago we found out we were prego.. Time flies when you get old I guess...Next week he will grad from high school!
Several years back I picked up a CD recording of a Dee Bowman sermon that I listen to frequently. In that sermon he encouraged his listeners to read the bible out loud and to pray out loud. I remember sitting in that audience as he asked for a show of hands of who would really do that. I was actually pretty honest with myself and didn't raise my hand. I knew that I would feel absolutely rediculous, and that I really wouldn't do it. I'm here to tell you now: I've tried it.. it works. I can't explain really what the difference is. I've struggled for a long time with trying to make God and the stories in the bible feel 'real'. I can't explain how much it has helped with this. I also have a ~horrible~ attention span, and reading and praying out loud have helped SO much with my concentration. Prayer is amazing. God is amazing.
"Pray without ceasing."
If you haven't done this.. if you haven't tried REALLY praying every chance you get, give it a shot. Build a habit. Talk to God. He's listening, and he WILL answer.
I loooovvvve praying and reading out loud. It's so much easier for me to voice my problems when I'm actually talking. And reading out loud keeps my attention a whole lot better. Good thoughts, I'll be praying (out loud) for ya! *Hugsssss*
Heard you were at the bible study sunday night. I, unfortunately, had to work sunday night. didn't feel like a sunday...sorry I missed it. hopefully I'll be able to attend the next one, lord willing and the creek don't rise :-)
That's quite interesting. I was asking b/c I went to the Step Sing Friday night with boyfriend Josh, and I was thinkin' it would have been cool to run into you then.
Hey! I haven't commented on your blog in quite some time, but it sounds like life is going really great for you lately! I'm so glad to see that the Lord is moving in positive ways in your life, and better yet, that you're moving in positive ways toward the Lord! Keep it up, man!!
