David is still pretty sick but made himself drive back to Chillicothe and take care of some business that he had pending.
Mom has a cold and sneezing and coughing. Nothing that has really caused us a lot of trauma.
We were able to make our treck to Toledo on Saturday and Mom did nicely. Joanne and David Beckley and their two grandaughters were simply delightful. I am so blessed to have been able to get to meet them in person and get to know them a bit better. Thanks to Sarah Longhenry for making the trip with us. It was a very pleasant drive and dinner.
I have been extremely busy but hope to get pictures posted in the next couple of days. |

David has the flu. Something normal people get for a change. However, his difference is that it sends his blood pressure soaring. He is pretty miserable. |

We celebrated with Mom today. It is her 83rd birthday! We also had our Christmas today. It has been a wonderful day that the Lord has given us |

One of the ladies from Pleo and her husband are spending three months in the USA from Africa. They will be traveling through the Toledo, Ohio area on Saturday Jan. 3. The plan is to meet up with them at the Cracker Barrel at exit 193 of I-75 at noon to have lunch and get acquainted. Her name is Joanne Beckley and her husband is David. If anyone is interested in joining us you are certainly welcome to do so. I am really looking forward to it. |

David and I were talking this afternoon and I told him that he just can not stand NOT being the center of attention. What did he do this time you might ask..... He fell off a ladder and seperated his shoulder then waited a couple of days to get to a doctor and has in all probability made it much worse by not wanting to spend Christmas in the hospital.
Why did this plan backfire? There is no one around to give him sympathy. *I* am up here 3 hours (at least) away, Sharon and Mark are not there, the dogs could not care less as long as they are fed and watered. No one to give sympathy or cater to him. Hmmmmm.
And of course he is not to use it for three weeks..... Yeah, right. |
