Hello everyone!
To follow up on the hurricanes I am happy that everyone came out safe and sound. Thanks to everyone who responded, we were really concerned.
I'm sure everyone is wondering how Shawn and I are doing. We are doing great. We are both pleased with the work here and it seems that we are drawing closer and closer to the members here. Nevertheless, there will ALWAYS be a special place in my heart for Dowlen Road. I always think about all of you and the valuable lessons that I learned. I also think about Lee and Heidi and all the wonderful lessons I learned from them on how to be an effective preacher's wife. I have really stepped out my comfort zone and I love it . I've been holding bible studies and getting to know all of the ladies of the church.
Shawn is doing brilliant. The other day I just sat back and looked at where we've come from. I remember when he wanted to preach, but did not know how to do it the most effective way. Thats when Max and David came along and entered our lives. Everyone made some kind of impact on us at Dowlen. The elders, deacons, and members. We are always thankful for this!
I miss all of my little sisters...Bree, Amanda, Adrien, Mandi, Bethi, Mya, Bailey, The Scott Girls, Emily,...Oh the list could go on and on!!!! I miss my little brothers too...Julian, Jeremy, Jeremiah, Jonathan, Todd, Reuben, Trey, ....the list goes on and on here too! Please forgive me if I left names out (my hand would fall off if I wrote everyone's name). All of you drop me a note and let me know how its going. Take care and always put God number one thats the only way to go. Remember to only care about what God thinks and not what your peers may think. In the end what God thinks really matters and his judgement determines where you will spend eternity!
