I can't believe December is here! I have one week left of school and then off for TWO weeks! Matt and I are so excited about Christmas in our new house. Next weekend we will go to Birmingham to do Christmas with my family. Then we will come home for a day and then drive out to Houston to spend Christmas with Matt's family. I love staying busy this time of the year! Last night we had our school Christmas party. Tonight the whole church is getting together for a party. What are your plans for Christmas?
I thought I would share some holiday pictures with you! I hope you and your family have a great holiday!
Here is Matt decorating our house. I was so nervous with him on the roof!
Here is our house all decorated.
Tex by our tree. "Is Santa here yet?"
Here is my best friend Jessica Anderson's little girl, Kenzie. She loves coming over to her Aunt Jana's house.
Hey Jana...I think we might get to see you for a few hours before we leave for CO. I was bummed that we were going to miss you guys, but Kathy said you might be in Wednesday AM and we are leaving Wednesday PM. So hopefully I will get to give you a hug :)
Kenzie is SO cute. I'm glad you liked the card and said something about it...I was starting to doubt whether I had sent one. We're looking forward to maybe seeing you guys next month (we won't have the girls with us though).
Y'all have a beautiful home! Tex poses quite nicely...he could be a model! :) Hope you all have safe travels & enjoy your time with family. We haven't made any definite plans yet, but we won't have to travel far whatever we decide.
Love your house! We are all decorated on the inside, but haven't had time to hang out outside lights this year ;-(. We've been out of town, and Aaron has been realy sick, so We'll skip the outdoor lights ;-(. Glad you guys are doing great!
Hey sweet Janjan.....Love your house...and I will miss you on Christmas Day..but we had fun this weekend didn't we? Love you so much and Merry Merry Christmas....Love you so! Dad says he loves you too....and of course Justin does too.....HE will miss you on Christmas morning....just has me and ole Dad! hahahaSee you in a couple of weeks....
It was wonderful having you and Matt here for Christmas this year. Thank you so much for coming to Texas. Have fun in the mountains. Much love to you!!
Mom and I are thinking of going to Savannah since it is only 4 hours away from Auburn, and that is what most people suggested.
If you have been there please leave any tips on where to stay, places to eat, what to do.
Thanks!
Hope you all have a good week!
Happy Thoughts:
-Getting the house clean on a sick day
-upcoming trip with mom
-Cool weather
-holidays are just around the corner. I can't wait to put up my Christmas tree in our new house!
Good choice! Enjoy! I remember loving going to one of the local candle shops and watching them make the candles. I was so young, but that really sticks out!
YAY, so glad you're going to be there. I paniced (sp?) for a second when I realized this trip with your mom might be THIS weekend. My plans are to leave Sunday afternoon and get into Auburn in time for church Sunday night. Do ya'll start at 5:00 or 6:00?
Hi! Jenny pointed me in your direction. We actually live in Savannah! I LOVE IT HERE!!!!!!!! We've been here about a year. I can give you all sorts of places to go & things to do here. I might actually have an e-mail that I saved that I sent someone else with some links on it.... But yea...Savannah is wonderful!!! When will you be coming? We'll be going back to Texas for a visit from Thanksgiving - Christmas. (We moved here last year at Thanksgiving & the girls & I haven't been back to visit - that'll be the 1st time!) Anyway, I look forward to talking to you!!! Have a great day!
Well, we have 2 malls.... but being from Houston these malls are nothing to speak of... ;) There's a lot of shopping downtown - we've got everything from speciality shops to tourist shops to The Gap! Out on Tybee Island (maybe 20 min from downtown) there are some cute shops...I've never been in them though! ha! Let me look for that e-mail... e-mail me - my e-mail is on my pg... I'll try to send you some webpages!
We are getting married in downtown McKinney, TX in this cute little chapel. It's small but just what I want :) Enjoy seeing Jenn this weekend and my cute little niece Loren!
Have you ladies make your trip yet? I had a wonderful dream last night, and you and Matt were in it. I really don't remember what it was about, I just remember you were part of it.
Oh man if you are going to Savannah, you need to talk to my sister, Beth, or Emily. They have been there a few times and she was telling me about places they liked last night.:) Have fun!
Mom and I are wanting to go on a weekend trip away together in October. Matt is going camping with some guys... so mom and I want to get away. Know of any good places? We want maybe a quaint town with lots of shopping, or just somewhere gorgeous that Matt wouldn't want to go to. I always hate being somewhere I know he wants to be...it makes me miss him too much! =) It is ok if we have to fly there. I have been researching some places, but would love suggestions!!
Happy thoughts:
-Great weekend with Ann and Jon Cunningham!
-It is suppose to get down into the 50's later this week!
-Cleaning out the garage
-Having a good report from the principal
wow sounds like savannah is popular...or you could both come to tampa...i have great new shopping right by my house brand new mall! and wesley chapel is a quiet bedroom community just north of tampa ;) miss you
Even though we lost to LSU, I thought we looked a lot better than last week. Game Day was here in Auburn so it was pretty crazy around here. My Dad, brother, and his two friends camped out Friday night to get close to Game Day. Justin made it on tv. Matt and I decided we were too old for that! =)Mom and I did go up there early Saturday morning. I got a game day hard hat. Here is mom and me at game day. This was before all the people got there.
cute -- i watched parts of the game, i was
commiserating with ya'll!
new season? I can hardly wait for Amazing Race. Then I am a little scared and worried about the changes that may happen to 2 of my other favorites: NCIS & The Unit
How sweet!! I love the picture. I also watched the game after Kyle told me it had just come on. I was cheering y'all on--but they just missed out. I just realized your dad is also in the picture--Fun Times.
Wow! I can't believe you got a student from Galveston. I read the cutest book to my kids today about a dog and a cat that survived Hurricane Katrina. A true story. The Two Bobbies. The kids all shared their stories. Good first day back. Mother got power and went home yesterday. Wish I could see y'all. I miss you both.
Matt and I just got home from spending the weekend with my family in Birmingham. We had a great time. We got to spend time with my sweet niece Caroline who is three now and my nephew Jackson who is almost 4 months old. They are adorable! It is nice to break up the week with a little trip on the weekend.
Back to school tomorrow. I hope this week goes by fast. I'm already excited about next weekend. Auburn vs LSU. I think I dislike LSU more than Bama....=) Game Day is going to be in Auburn on Saturday, so the town will be even more excitement than usual! Justin, my brother, says he wants to camp out at Game Day Friday night! I don't think I am that into it! =) I hope Auburn looks better than they looked against Mississippi State. 3-2 ??? Come on!
WAR EAGLE!!
Hope yall have a good week! My mom is on here now. So, go welcome her!
Hey Jana--hope things are going well at school--we are out the rest of the week--Mother has been staying with me--she still doesn't have power. Have fun this weekend--hope you have an exciting game to watch!!
