So, I had to take my Saturn in today because it started over-heating again like it was back in June, only it seemed a tad different... like it was consistently overheating, just most of the time yesterday. So I took it to the dealership this morning (yes I drove in the dreaded tropical storm edo) and they told me what was wrong with it. Luckily it wasn't the coolant fan again, but the College Station dealership, who fixed the coolant fan, had forgotten to attached the little hose that holds the fuses to the coolant fan, back away from the hot motor part. So the motor melted the tube and fried the fuses. SO I didn't have to pay for that and everybody was super nice and fixed it.
Then I go to get in my car to leave and they had left some dirty plastic covering on the floorboard. So, I had already turned my car on and decided I wanted to throw it away because it was stinky dirty... So I proceed to get out of my running car and close the door because you know, the hurricane thing is here and it's pouring rain and blowing wind, and my car proceeds to lock all of the doors by itself because it has a lock issue. So, since it's like flooding, no one is coming to buy a car today so eeeevveryone who works there is standing inside staring at me and laughing because I locked myself out of my running car. (They proceed to make fun of me because I am and Aggie, I'm sure someone would enjoy that part...) So Benito comes to my rescue and pops my locks and then tells me that it's a cheap easy fix to fix the crazy possessed locks and that he'll do it with no labor charges. I was like awesome, I can afford 28 bucks for that part. So that was my adventure for the day. They were super nice and I got everything fixed (even though it's a huricanane tropical storm) and my car is alll happy again! And the Saturn company is awesome very awesome and nice.
This is I think officially the longest post I have ever made in my life. Cherish it always.
oh and now i just read other people's comments so I have to respond....Lexus baby!!! free rentals! of course i am partial because my husband works there but they are still really nice to me when I come in...and it doesnt hurt that its free :)
Guys I am so in the car right now!! Bridgie is driving us to Wichita Falls for worship services!!! And we've been in the car for 2 hours and 59 minutes... now 3 hours. How am I doing this in the car you ask??? I am using Jacob's cool new phone. So we should be back in Houston after about 7 hours of driving. Should be a fun time. We just saw some camels just a second ago too and we can't eat McDonalds either, it's too caloric. Peace out guys and have a wonderful Lord's day.
