This year has gone by so fast! It seems like yesterday when we were excited about Jacob rolling over for the first time and now he's walking!!! He'll be ONE in less than a month....crazy! :)
I didn't know that either. If only I would have discovered that before the wedding. hehe;-) I didn't want to admit this, but Way of the Dragon is on our rental list.
Girl, you better grab something and hold on, cause it does NOT slow down at all. You'll be saying the same words when Jacob graduates from high school. He is such an animated boy. I love to see his excitement during Wednesday night 'boys and girls' review time. If he could grow any faster to get to go sit with those other kids, he would be there - like yesterday. :)
I can't believe it either. I still remember seeing him for the 1st time & thinking WoW, what a big boy who looks just like Craig. Now, I see this lil boy Kendra. I just love him. I still can't get over how much he was making me laugh. I just couldn't get it together! Love you! :)
My Dad died suddenly, but peacefully at home on Sunday afternoon. We really don't have any other details at this time. I just wanted to thank everyone for the prayers and the phone calls. Please continue to pray for my family, especially for my Mom.
Last week we stayed with Craig's parents. Craig got to hunt a few times and I got to spend time with my mother-in-law. Tuesday we drove to Lost Maples State Park. The fall colors were beautiful this year. Craig & I had been once before, but it was Henry & Beverly's first time. When we first got there it was kinda cold & windy. Beverly & I didn't have jackets, so we went inside the gift shop to find something. We ended up getting the "cheapest" (not really cheap) thing. They were gray hoodies with green & yellow writing that said "Happy Camper" with a smiley face wearing a bucket hat. It was really funny. The hike was great, but it really wore Jacob out. On the way home we went through Medina and got apple ice cream; it was good, but we really couldn't taste the apple. We had a really good week with them, even though, we both ended up getting a cold. Enjoy the pictures.
It was GORGEOUS!! There was this one lady who fell on the rocks crossing the creek while we were there!! Seemed pretty bad. We are trying to get back in the awing of things and get tools and supplies for our business!! It's exciting.
I just want you to know that I am praying for you and all of your family, I love you my sweet friend. If there is anything I can do for you, let me know!
We are thinking about you and praying for your family. Thanks for sharing the pics above. What pretty fall colors & such a cute lil' guy. I'm glad your trip went so well. I love you! XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Kendra, I am sooo sad for you; I know what you are going thru. I've been there. Please feel all the love & hugs & the great care and concern we have for you, Craig and Jacob. I pray for God's comfort to each of you. Call if you need anything at all, sweetie.
Thursday I took Jacob to the Library for story time. All the kids got to wear their Halloween costumes. Jacob was a very colorful lion. He was soooo cute! That afternoon we took him to get pictures. All of the pictures turned out great. We had a hard time choosing. Friday night we went to her house for a party and trick or treating. It was so much fun! All of the kids we're so cute in their costumes! Today we went to visit my parents, sister & nephew. I put Jacob in his costume, so they could see him.....OK, so I could see it again too. ;)
Hi Kendra. Thanks for checking on me. Aedan had a little stomach thing going on last night and I was kinda iffy. I really didn't want to share it with anyone @ church, or @ our group meeting! I picked Aedan up early from school today; he called about 1:15 saying he wasn't right, so I guess it's still hanging on....Hope you and the men are getting over the sugar coma that follows Halloween! That sure is a cutie lion you got there! :)
I just read your things below - I like the Aunt Lulu! That's so cute! I'm trying to convince my nieces and nephews that Matthew should be Uncle Bubba... ;)
yeah..we really like it there! it's neat! toasted pumpkin seeds good..you gotta soak em for a while in water....and then mix them up with a little oil and salt and bake them in the oven..atleast thats how we always did it.
Kendra - I really hope you are feeling better soon. Missed your smiling face yesterday am! (Had to work the evening shift) Kiss Baby Boy for me....I'll see if I can find an edible necklace to wear for him. :)
