yesterday rosemary learned how to roll over! from back to belly. and that's all she does now. plus, today she found her thumb. it is oh, so frustrating for her to keep it in her mouth.
during christmas at honey's maia discovered stairs. and how to climb them. time for the gate.
after lunch yesterday avery said he wanted "a little white donut" for dessert. "i don't have any donuts." "yes we do!" "oh, really? where?" "right there!" i open the candy dish and get out an individually wrapped, mint life saver. "this is not a donut, it's a life saver." "oh, i don't want a life saver."
Merry Christmas! I love the photos you sent! Poor Avery I know how it feels to want a particular something to eat and only be disappointed. In my house it's usually from looking inside the empty box someone left for me in the pantry :)
I know what you mean!!! Our microwave broke and it wouldn't break for the repairman!!! As soon as he left the house and finished his "repair" it broke AGAIN!!! Needless to say, we have a new microwave :-) Thanks for the compliment... are you doing something special for your anniversary?
That's no good. I have been telling ben for a few weeks that we had a mouse in the house...he didn't believe me. We both saw it last night, so now he finally believes me!! lol
My electrician husband said that when it trips you probably have something else going that is overloading it, either that or it is defective. When we plug in our electric heaters and I forget and use the microwave, it trips every time.
That's the way it ALWAYS happens. It's just Murphy's Law #2: "Whatever can go wrong WILL go wrong...until the repair man arrives." (The same thing always happens to me with my car.)
I hope she does sleep for you!! That would help everyone!! The house has stalled for several weeks now due to the county dragging their feet on inspections. Supposedly they're going to do the framing one on Monday and hopefully we'll pass. It's kind of tricky here and kind of depends on who you get. Once that's done we can insulate and drywall. Luke's meeting with Verizon tomorrow to do the phonelines and as soon as the alarm stuff comes in he'll install that too with a guy from church. In the meantime, he's been working on the cabinets.
