That's the only word I have for this picture... we start our rice cereal next Monday after their four month checkup!
The kiddos are growing so much! Alex offically rolls over now from tummy to back, he's done it multiple times. The other two are following close behind, not long before I've got three babies rolling throughout the house :-)
Johnny loves laying down with the babies on the floor playing with them:
We had Christmas with my family this past weekend, Carson is a HAM!!!
"Camden" got a Storm Trooper helmet, but his Daddy, Ryan, had more fun with it!
Last night Johnny was eating some of his Daddy's pizza, he hadn't had a nap all day, so he decided to take it while eating :-)
Wow. And so begin the assembly line feedings! It seems like it'll be easier to feed them solids. A friend of mine is a twin and her mom used to use different bowls/spoons for each baby until their doctor pointed out that she was just making more dishes for herself. After all, they're taking toys from each other and putting it in their mouths all the time. I still don't know if I could do it. :)
I love the pile of babies- I just want to scoop them up and hug them!
All your babies are so sweet. I know how Johnny feels. This last week there were a few time I felt like falling asleep while eating! ;) I love the sweet, bald baby heads. Don't grow too fast little ones!!
They have small scale cribs. Their old house had a tiny room. That helps. We always just use the chair kind of high chairs (like Johnny's) for the boys. 3 real ones seems like a big endeavor!
Jay has been wanting to take Johnny to the Zoo while he was off. So the weather yesterday made it the PERFECT day to go. The high was 66 and it was sunny!
We dropped the triplets off at my brother's house and they did the babysitting for the triplets.
The worst part of the day was finding a parking spot (30 minutes!!!)
But then we got into the zoo and Johnny had a blast, he called almost all the land animals "doggies"... and he was mesmerized by all the animals.
Here's Johnny calling the Antelope a doggie:
My little Meerkat:
Petting the goats:
He thought it was so much fun to ride on Daddy's shoulders:
Johnny is still under 3 ft tall... not nearly as tall as a giraffe!
He got to go "underwater":
He fell asleep about 1 minute after we got in the car:
Has Amanda told you how Travis keeps calling my Peyton "Johnny!" She told me today its after your little boy! to funny...it is cracking up he goes "Come on Hailey Grace - Here comes Johnny!" its so funny!
Hmm ... When you put it that way ... :) I have had lots of baby girl time ... maybe I should have some baby boy time. :) Do you take reservations in advance? ;-)
Johnny's so sweet! Love the socks. Mom gave me a pair that are very warm and green and purple poka dots. Reagan wears them like Johnny but she calls them boots. :o)
wow! mommy of four, your amazing! your babies are beautiful. lol, about the socks, especially when they put them on backwards and the heel is sticking out!
Thanks for letting me love on Alex yesterday! :) He was SOOOO good - the only time he made a peep was during the Lord's supper, when I popped his bottle out for a second because I couldn't figure out how to hold the baby, hold the bottle, AND grab the grape juice! :) He's such a lump! :)
Yeap, not a good start to this week for us! Reagan's head seems to be fine. You can still see the scab but she hasn't complained about it since the night the iron fell on her. Hopefully the middle/end of this week will get better! What a way to end 2008.
We're not leaving yet! :) We'll be at Bible study tomorrow night - maybe we'll get a second to catch up then! :) Alex is such a happy baby! Are the other 2 as contented as he is?
We had a wonderful Christmas! I got a digital photo frame and I love it! It's in my kitchen, so I can watch pictures of my family as I cook/clean, etc. Johnny got a basketball goal and he has been playing with it non stop. Poor babies... I bought them formula this year... I just couldn't justify buying them gifts when they won't remember it... and their formula is so expensive! They'll have a better Christmas next year when we don't buy formula anymore!
Here I am with all my kids, piled in my lap... this is the first time I have held all three of the babies... and the first time to hold all FOUR!
This year we went to the Omni Hotel off of Eldridge and 10. It was beautful and deliciuos. For a couple of years before we were going to the Holiday Inn on 10 and 6 but they got a new chef last year and it wasn't good.
The first time you've held all three?! Glad you guys had a good Christmas. Kate got a lot of diapers... We'll be in town next week so I hope to see you!
There is no other way to describe what I feel for my children!
Having triplets is AMAZING! Yes, three times the hard work, but three times the smiles, three times the coos, three times the cuddles and three times the love. I thank our Lord everyday for giving me these blessings... I love them SO MUCH!
Here is Johnny hugging Jaxson:
The babies love to lay on a blanket in the living room and watch each other... I'm so happy they're starting to notice each other:
