My office is freeeeezing, and I'm hungry. Not a terribly fun combination.

All you turkey cookers ... does any roast their turkey in an electric roaster? Do you like it better that way?

It was a wonderful concert.
The cute little lady in the white top is the best choir director in the world. The students call her Mrs. P.
19 BH students made Region Choir ... 5 (including Ashley) are advancing to Area.

There was so many pictures the last few weeks I couldn't decide what to post. So, here's a slideshow. :)

adamandjessesdad	That's great! Shows you that what a kid is like in junior high isn't necessarily what they're going to be like in just a couple of years. Junior high is tough for all of them, I think.

alissasmommy	I've eaten a few turkeys done in a roaster... they tased the same to me:) I just didn't buy one myself because I have a shortage of cabinet space as it is... They take up a lot of room.
alissasmommy	My favorite turkey is Grandma's.... :)
alissasmommy	Luckily I will have a few visits from them :) They are coming here for Thanksgiving, as well as David. Then they will be back for Alaina's arrival and Christmas :) I am very lucky!

debsherbs	I roast our ham or turkey in our roaster every year and it is sooooo easy and good!
debsherbs	I inject inject inject it makes the turkey so juicy! Ya feel like a surgeon also!!!
this_old_man	Reynolds Oven Bag. I slice onions to make bed for the turkey to sit on, and put two or three lemons in the cavity, rub down the outside with butter and sprinkle with ginger, sometimes I insert a clove of garlic under the skin between the wing and the breast. After it bakes hang one edge of the bag off the pan and cut to make a drippings spigot.

Busy Weekend

I just had lunch with the kiddos from BH that made Region Choir, and the choir director. I just can't get enough of doing things like that. They stopped at Chilies to eat before heading to Deer Park for an all afternoon and evening rehersal. While Ashley is at rehersal, I will work on cleaning the church building.

Early tomorrow, she will be off again for an all day rehersal ... and I get to take Emma for her first trip to the zoo. :) Then in the evening I will be back in Deer Park for the concert. :)

I always look forward to Sundays ... worship ... eat lunch ... sleep ... worship.

I hope y'all have as good a weekend as mine is going to be. It is suppose to be beautiful weather! :)

I just got an email saying that the new Blackberry Storm will be available 11/21/08.
And, I am (past) eligible for a new phone.
I'm not going to get one anytime soon. :-/
